Can I make or save money working overseas? ^ Back to Top
Yes. Definitely. There are several reasons you can leave after the job overseas with more money than you started with. Some foreign countries have less than 5% federal income tax, others have 0%. When you work overseas for a year, you don't have to pay any U.S. federal income tax, only the taxes of the host country, and if they don't have any, then you don't pay any. Most jobs overseas offer free housing, so you don't have to pay rent. In every country that speaks a foreign language, you can teach English in your spare time and make extra cash; I made an average of $40 an hour doing this in Korea.

I still don't understand why so many volunteer programs require $2000 to $3000 for you to show up and work for them! I think that is absolutely ridiculous, so 99% of our volunteer positions do not require you to pay a fee to go out in the world and do some good. The few that we have listed that require fees are so small and the program looked cool enough, that we went ahead and listed them.
Do you have any Internships that pay? ^ Back to Top
Yes. We have a lot that pay. Surprisingly, some pay good too.
Is the membership a one time fee or does it automatically charge me again if I don't cancel my membership? ^ Back to Top
The initial fee is a one time charge. When your membership time has ended, you will receive an email stating; your membership has expired. You do not have to contact us to cancel your membership; It's done automatically.
Once I join and search the database, is there a fee to apply for a job? ^ Back to Top
No. There are no hidden fees. Once you are a member, you can apply for any job, apply to as many jobs as you wish, as well as get free consulting from an expert for advice on any questions concerning; travel and overseas work.
Do you take a commission or percentage of my salary once I am accepted for a job? ^ Back to Top
No. Again, our only fee is the initial membership fee. We do not get a commission or percentage of your employment salary. We want you to travel and be happy.
Is there a limit on the number of jobs I can apply for? ^ Back to Top
No. You can apply 2000 or 3000 or whatever number of times that you wish. The benefit of being a member is that you can apply to all the jobs you want. We continually update and add job postings to our joblist, so during the duration of your membership, you will see newly posted jobs that you are free to apply to.
Why do you charge the member a fee when other sites that list jobs are free to join or search their job listings? ^ Back to Top
The other sites that are free to join, do one of three things:
First, they charge up to $495 a month for an employer to post a job; only huge companies can pay these fees and they don't have the types of jobs that our members are searching for. A small company, like an adventure tour group or a 60 foot day charter sailboat, can't afford to pay a huge fee to fill their employment needs.  The member also pays a small fee, so he or she can search a database only filled with jobs that are fun, exciting, and adventurous.
Second, some company or individual will post a job listing for the sole purpose of getting thousands of resumes that they can then turn around and sell to companies to be used for marketing purposes (they start emailing you spam). I know, because I've had it happen to me from sending in my resume to some of the major sites.
Third, some free websites get you to fill in all your personal information, then you get into their database and find that it sucks. Then you start getting one or two emails from them every day concerning great deals or ads for things like buying Ipods, airline discounts, et cetera. During our internet research to collect international jobs, we joined quite a few of these websites and the unwanted email ads started hitting our accounts within 24 hours.
Why should I join the site? ^ Back to Top
Benefits include: access to a huge database of jobs that are fun, exciting, and adventurous and you can ask any question you might have concerning traveling or working overseas...basically you get an experienced work overseas and travel consultant/ mentor.
If I join, do you guarantee me a job overseas? ^ Back to Top
No. We do not guarantee employment.  But we'll give you as much advice as we can, answer any questions you have, and update the database with tons of new jobs during the time you're a member. Even after your membership has expired, you are also free to contact us whenever you need help or advice about your job overseas or any travel related question.
Where are the jobs located? ^ Back to Top
From all over the world; Australia, South Pacific, Hawaii, Alaska, Central America, South America, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Do you offer anything special to join? ^ Back to Top
For 3 month members, you get a booklet packed with information on advice in working and traveling overseas. I think the most valuable chapter is one that we have included in the second edition concerning Contracts. It's perfect for people that have never worked overseas. For 6 month members, you get a book with even more information. You can also order the book separately (you don't have to join as a member to order the book).
Who should join? ^ Back to Top
Most jobs, volunteer positions, and Internships are for people who are; a current high school student to graduated from college with 1 to 5 years work experience, and between the ages of 18 and 35. If you are currently unemployed, sick of your job, and finally want to travel, or a high school or college student and wish to travel overseas during the winter and summer breaks. Some of the jobs, volunteer positions and Internships accept all age groups, so there is international employment if you are available to travel.
I don't have a college degree but I have work experience, are there any positions available for me? ^ Back to Top
Yes. A lot of positions don't require a college degree. If you have ever dreamed of traveling, you can find a position in our job listings.
How long do the jobs, volunteer positions, and Internships last? ^ Back to Top
We have volunteer positions that are as short as 1 week and as long as 1 year. Jobs, of course, can last for as long as you wish. The Internships range from 1 month to as long as 3 years, but most are for a term of 3 months or for a term of 1 year.
