Area around Australia

We grouped Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand together because they all offer the same types of jobs and volunteer positions.  If you are searching jobs around the world then this is a great area to look for employment because they speak English and the land is beautiful!

 Australia is the only country in the world, which is also a continent.  The word Australia comes from the Latin Australis, which means Southern.  

Tasmania is an Island state of Australia and lies about 150 miles to the southeast, across the Bass Strait.

New Zealand is comprised of two large Islands, North Island and South Island (which are divided by a 12 mile Strait).
